Prayer Meeting tonight begins promptly at 7pm. If you would like to attend or be added to the Prayer List, please contact Pastor David on 0457 803 201.
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord; by the word of the Lord the heavens were made, alleluia!
The time has come, our salvation is near.
You know 'the time' has come: you must wake up now: our salvation is even nearer than it was when we were converted. The night is almost over, it will be daylight soon - let us give up all the things we prefer to do under cover of the dark; let us arm ourselves and appear in the light. Let us live decently as people do in the daytime: no drunkeness, no promiscuity or licentiousness, and no wrangling or jealousy. Let your armour be the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is the word of the Lord.

On a brisk morning, we were warmed to be singing.
Immortal, Invisible

O, Worship the King

Glorious morning, wasn't it! With a church full of happy young people, we sang and laughed and felt the Spirit. A new song today was All Creatures of Our God and King by Fernando Ortega. An awesome piece in a kind of military style that worked very well with a stiring sermon about Spiritual Warfare.
At every moment, we are at war. Not necessarily in a physical sense, although that is the case at times. But in a spiritual sense we are constantly battling with temptation and the angels themselves fight the mightiest fight of Good verses Evil.
We can but hold fast, have faith and stand proud in the armour of God. (Eph 6:13)

Prayer Thursday
You have made known to me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy, at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psalm 16:11
Dear Father in Heaven, you show us the way of life; in your presences is fullness of joy and and at your right hand is delight forever. In your presence we want to rejoice together as your children, under your protection. May we become firm in every part of our life on earth. Grant that soon something of your kingdom, of your heaven, may encircle us like a blessing, enabling us to fight on in joy and exultation. We entrust ourselves to you, our faithful and loving God, and we thank you. Amen.

Anzac Day worship was very uplifting. Our guest Communion speaker, Shane gave us a passionate reading on how the disciples suffered in the quest to speak the truth of Jesus Christ.
And Pastor David followed up with a very similar message - that it is not enough to simply say the words, "I am a Christian." Your actions, your works say far more about the state of your heart and the state of your faith, than words alone ever will. It can be a difficult path to follow but there can be no more glorious destination.
Next week, we are delighted to announce that Rob and Lil will be both leading the music and speaking, which we are eagerly awaiting. Remember, 10:30am - everyone is welcome!
